So far how do you guys like this book? I kinda like it but its kinda boring so far. I think it will probly get better though. I thought Hannah handled the problem with her mom and how she didnt want to go to her grandparents. What do you think
I think this book deviil's arithmatic has started off a little bow, but I think it will probobly get better. What do you think the purpuse of starting in the modern time period and going back in time instead of starting in WW2? I think we will find out later though. why do you think the ather when Hannah went back in time made her just recovering from sickness? Maybe just maybe the people in the story would reconiz her acting different if she wasn't
Well this is another school book, just like always boring! I mean I wish it could of explianed more things. Like I still dont understand the whole point of the festavle. Why does she go back in the past. Well those are just my opinions.
hello, i was just going to talk about Devil's Arithmetic. This book seems very interesting so far. I thought it was interesting when the auther talked about the logic about dreams, like about her internal translator. It seems that whenever Hannah talks about her life it seems to fit with what Shmuel and Gitl believe about her. (i.e. she says she misses her family and Shmuel and Gitl think her parents died)It is funny when she actually says how it doesn't make any sense to be in her "dream." I am not entirely sure about her time-traveling but hopefully it will be revealed late. I think Hannah's goal for the book will to get back to her real family. I just thought I would share with you my thoughts about this book.

Example Response
John Smith: Wow! I am so interested in this book. Could you imagine being orphaned at our age and having to be able to survive on our own? Crispin has no other relatives to take him in, and it sounds like he is not very accepted in his village. I wonder why John Aycliff is after him? Life was so different during this time period. People could be killed for doing what we consider very minor things. Life sure was difficult. I am curious to know what you guys think about this book. Do you think Crispin will stay in Stromford or run away? How will he escape John Aycliff?
