Hey guys i was just wondering what exactly did you think about the couple battles that X has run into, honestly i thought that they were interesting / scary. At that moment i would be really scared especially getting attacked by air planes. During the battles their were boys that died before they even got into battle, please respond
This book is interesting. I would absolutely hate being in the German army. They had to take a really log train in the super hot weather so their uniforms are sticking to them and junk. I would go insane. Also in the train's only bathroom was a little room with a curtin. Everything went onto the tracks. Lovely. When they got to their destination they were served by some Jews that were being held capive. The main charactor thanked the little girl that gave him soup but her only reply was a smile that looked like it would crack open her face. How sad. I wonder if they were criminals or they were treated like that because they were Jews?
I think this book is really good. I like the complexity of it. I would hate to be shuffled of to war at the age of 16, would you. I think it would be very gross to have to wear a dead man's cloths, would you. I think Erik is very brave and resourceful. I'm really glad he met Jakob, Osker, and Hals. It would be really bad to be willi and get your arm taken off. I think it would be so scary, would you.
Definitely, I would hate to be sent to war at 16 without any choice. And who knows what could have happened to the guy that wore the clothes before you.
Yah i would have to agree with you and i could not live if their was one bathroom/ really small room. about the uniforms that would be so gross and about that little girl i would feel so bad for her. the jews that so bad when jews get beat up or not treated that well i just feel really sad.
this book is awesome! I look forward to reading it. I wonder what happens to Erik? On the back of the book it says that Erik is behind enemy lines injured and alone. I also wonder what happens to the rest of the people like Jacob and Oskar. SO far this is a great book though!
Hey guys i was wondering about something else, ....... the nurse holding a human leg. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. that would be so gross to see that sight. i wanted to know about that. I would be scard 4 life. I wanted to know what your thoughts were on it

Example Response
John Smith: Wow! I am so interested in this book. Could you imagine being orphaned at our age and having to be able to survive on our own? Crispin has no other relatives to take him in, and it sounds like he is not very accepted in his village. I wonder why John Aycliff is after him? Life was so different during this time period. People could be killed for doing what we consider very minor things. Life sure was difficult. I am curious to know what you guys think about this book. Do you think Crispin will stay in Stromford or run away? How will he escape John Aycliff?

John, I thought they were pretty cool. They were pretty detailed. They were pretty grotesque.

Yeah, it would freak me out. I would probably die before I even get to the battle field.
Mabye it was blown up face guy

I think it would be even scarier to have to interrogate captured russians
